Leonardo DiCaprio is an extremely talented actor and film producer. Although appearing in numerous movies and tv series, it’s arguable. He shot to fame when appearing in James Cameron's Titanic. With an extremely wide range in his acting capabilities, DiCaprio appears in numerous different genres. Dicaprio is able to please a wider audience.

Dicaprio began his career by appearing in television commercials in the late 1980s. In the early 1990s, he played a recurring role in various television series, such as the sitcom Parenthood. Leonardo DiCaprio had his first major film role as Tobias “Toby” Wolff in this Boy's Life 1993. He received critical acclaim and the first Academy Award and Golden Globe Award nominations for his supporting role in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape 1993. 

He achieved international stardom in the epic romance Titanic 1997, which became the highest-grossing film to that point. After a few commercially unsuccessful films, Dicaprio starred in two successful features in 2002: Catch Me If You Can and Gangs of New York. Dicaprio appeared in The Aviator 2004 and continued to receive acclaim for his performances, Blood Diamond 2006, The Departed 2006, and Revolutionary Road 2008.

In the 2010s, he starred in Inception, the Western Django Unchained 2012, the biopic The Wolf of Wall Street 2013, The Survivor drama The Revenant 2015, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 2019, all of which were critical and commercial successes. His accolades include an Academy Award, a BAFTA, and Golden Globe Award for the Revenant, as well as two other Golden Globes where The Aviator and the Wolf of Wall Street.

As of 2021, his net worth is estimated at $260 million which mainly comes from his acting career and brand endorsement deals. 


The star purchases a home in 2002 at $6 million. The estate is amongst the three Oceanfront properties owned by Leonardo in the same area. The Cape Cod-inspired house is spread across 2,633 square feet and featured seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a gym. The recently renovated property is conveniently divided into a four-bedroom main house on the ocean side and a two-bedroom guest house, a beachfront deck, a fire pit, gardens, and a lawn on the less-than-half-acre lot. Recently, Leonardo has listed this property with an asking price of $23 million. 

He is the owner of three cars, which includes a Porsche Cayenne that was valued at 68,000 dollars. The other one is a gray Tesla Roadster which he purchased for 200,000 dollars. And the last ones, its 110000 dollars, Fisker Karma hybrid which has been seen on a couple of times driving a modest speed.

He's an environmentalist and often supports natural causes. As of December 2013, he's urging people to donate, support, and save tigers in Nepal. He had a near-death experience during a skydiving incident when his parachute would refuse to open. Luckily, it wasn't fatal in the end as an instructor came to his rescue. He is a supporter of gay rights gave a donation of 61 thousand dollars to the Glaad Media Awards in 2016.
